- What are the 2020 Show hours?

Hours are to be confirmed, but the days are : 

Thursday, January 16

Friday, January 17 
Saturday, January 18

- Are children allowed to attend the Show? 
People under the age of 16 are not allowed to attend the Show, except for infants who must remain in a baby carrier. 


- Can I rent a wheelchair or a three-wheel, electric mobility scooter?

Yes, you can rent all of this equipment, either by contacting Jennifer Monteith or by going in person to the Show Office in Hall 1.


- Is there a cloakroom to put my luggage or other personal effects?

Yes, the cloakroom is located at the main entrance of The International Centre, in the Conference Centre, at a cost of $4 per item.


- Are animals allowed at the Show?
No, animals are not allowed at the Show, except for guide dogs and assistance animals. Any person who requires the assistance of an animal to attend the event needs Show Team's authorization (Show Office, Hall 1).

- Can I take pictures at the Show?

Taking photos and recording videos of the booths and/or products is strictly prohibited. Only authorized media and the event’s official photographer are allowed to walk around with a camera (photo or video) during the Show. Any other person with a camera will be denied admittance or will be asked to leave the premises. 


- Is there a Lost & Found service?

Lost items can be claimed at the Show Office located in Hall 1 during the Show hours. You can also report a lost item by writing to info@canadianfurnitureshow.com, and a member of our team will get back to you.


- Do you sell your visitors list?

No, we do not sell any of our lists. After the event, we send the list of buyers who attended the Show for free to the exhibitors, but without the email addresses, as the law indicates. All offer from a third party should be ignored and signaled as spam. 





- How can I register, and when does registration start?

Visitors can resgister online in October 2019. They can also register in person during the Show, to the registration counters located in Halls 1 and 2 of The International Centre, with the required documents in hands.


- What documents are required for registration?
To be admitted to the Show, you must be an active industry professional and provide two (2) supporting documents, for both online or on-site registration. The list of supporting documents can be found on the Admission Criteria page.

- Is there an admission fee?
Admission to the Show is free, as are the activities during the event with the exception of the CHFA Gala


- Is the Canadian Furniture Show open to the public?

The Canadian Furniture Show is a trade event strictly for professionals of the furniture industry (retailers, manufacturers, designers, decorators, buyers, importers and other industry professionals) and is thus not open to the public.


- I am a media representative. Where should I register?

Like all visitors, media representatives can register online in ocotber 2019, or in person during the Show. For a guided tour of the Show, they can contact Marie-Eve Boucher, Communications Director, by email to meboucher@afmq.com.





- How can I make a hotel room reservation?

The Canadian Furniture Show offers discounts in some of the hotels located near The International Centre through the Show’s official supplier, Showcare Event Solutions. After registering, you will be able to book your housing. Please be careful about housing scams!


- Are there any discounts offered on airplane tickets?

In an effort to minimize your travel costs, we have obtained discounts from some airline companies. For full details, please go to the Air Travel page .


- Is there any parking at The International Centre and is it free?

The International Centre has a free parking area available for its guests which can accommodate 5,000 vehicles. Charging stations for electric cars are also available near the Conference Centre entrance.


- How do you get to The International Centre by public transportation?

There are many public transit networks in the Greater Toronto Area. To plan your commute, please go to the Public Transit page .


- Is there a shuttle service available?

There is a free shuttle service during the Show between The International Centre and the participating hotels. You can also use our free shuttle from The International Centre to the Pearson Airport only. To find out about the shuttle schedules, please go to the Shuttle page (information to come for the 2020 Show).
