 - What are the Show hours?
The Show will be open from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.


- Are children allowed to attend the Show? Is there are a daycare facility?

People under the age of 16 are not allowed to attend the Show, except for infants who must remain in a baby carrier. Yes, there is a daycare service at the Show, at a cost of $10 an hour per child. For full details, please check the and Admission Policies & Criteria page.


- Can I rent a wheelchair or a three-wheel, electric mobility scooter?

Yes, you can rent all of this equipment, either by contacting Jennifer Monteith or by going in person to the Show Office in Hall 1.


- Is there a cloakroom to put my luggage or other personal effects?

Yes, the cloakroom is located at the main entrance of The International Centre, in the Conference Centre, at a cost of $3 per item.


- Are animals allowed at the Show?
No, animals are not allowed at the Show, except for guide dogs and assistance animals. Any person that needs the accompaniment of an animal will be allowed to visit the Show with the permission of the Show Team.

- Can I take pictures at the Show?

Taking photos and recording videos of the booths and/or products is strictly prohibited. Only the duly identified media and the event’s official photographer are allowed to walk around with a camera (photo or video) during the Show. Any other person with a camera will be denied admittance to the Show or will be asked to leave the premises. For full details, please check our Admission Policies & Criteria.


- Is there a lost-and-found service?

Lost-and-found items can be claimed at the Show Office located in Hall 1 during the Show hours. You can also report a lost item by writing to, and a member of our team will conduct a follow-up with you.




- How can I register, and when does registration start?

Visitors can register online starting on March 1, 2017. They can also register during the Show by going it in person, with the required documents in hand, to the registration counters located in Halls 1 and 3 of The International Centre.


- What documents are required for registration?
To be admitted to the Show, you must be an active professional in the industry and provide two (2) supporting documents, for online and on-site registration. The list of supporting documents can be found on the Admission Policies & Criteria page.

- Is there an admission fee?
Admission to the Show is free, as are the speaker presentations that will be held at noon hour. The services provided at the Spa are also free!


- Is the Canadian Furniture Show open to the public?

The Canadian Furniture Show is a trade event strictly for professionals in the furniture industry (retailers, manufacturers, designers, decorators, buyers, importers and other industry professionals) and is thus not open to the public.


- I am a media representative. Where should I register?

Like the other visitors, media representatives can register online starting on March 1, 2017, or they can register upon entering the Show, while the event is on. For a guided tour of the Show, they can contact Nathalie Lessard, Communications Director, by writing to




- How can I make a hotel room reservation?

The Canadian Furniture Show offers discounts in some of the hotels located near The International Centre through the Show’s official supplier, Destination Plus. For reservations or for further information, please go to the Hotels and Transportation page .


- How can I enter the draws for free hotel packages?

By reserving your hotel room by April 28, 2017, you are automatically registered in the draws for these packages. The Show Team will contact the winners by email in the week following the draw.


- Are there any discounts offered on airplane tickets?

In an effort to minimize your travel costs, we have obtained discounts from some of the airline companies. For full details, please go to the Air Travel page .


- Is there any parking at The International Centre and is it free?

The International Centre has a free parking area at the disposal of its guests, and the parking lot can accommodate 5,000 vehicles. Charging stations for electric cars are also available near the Conference Centre entrance.


- How do you get to The International Centre by public transportation?

There are many public transportation networks that cover the Greater Toronto Area. To plan your itinerary, please go to the Public Transit page .


- Is a shuttle service available?

There is a free shuttle-bus service between The International Centre and the participating hotels. You can also enjoy free transportation from The International Centre to Toronto’s Pearson Airport. To find out about the shuttle schedules, please go to the Shuttle page of the website.
